Takao Minami: Takao Minami

The exhibition will consist of 3 video works including　installations. Each used the tools such as computer, projector, monitoring camera or mirror as media to show how the elements of reality will be able to communicate with virtual space and create the visual world. It is the experimental trial for exploring possibility of it.

For example, the artist had recently been travelling in Cambodia and Vietnam in South East Asia and collected materials through the trip. Those were edited by computer at first and then got computerized and visible by projector or micro camera.
The works will be not only visual images, also some object machines with music which composed by him. They will express the internalized scenery of the artist world. As the artist says "the works are playing music of places." the 3 new works communicate each other and create harmony. We hope you enjoy this rich colourful symphony of reality, technology, and time.
