Akira the Hustler Cloud Man (each/together) 2017-2019 FRP, acrylic, wood, steel 240x239x71cm
Akira the Hustler(アキラ・ザ・ハスラー)，1969年生于东京。1995年毕业于京都市立艺术大学大学院绘画系。Akira the Hustler自学生时期开始参与APP（AIDS Poster Project）运动，同时也是位社会运动家。其后艺术家持续以爱滋、性、核能、人种歧视等，多样的社会议题作为创作题材。近年的展览包括,“STREET JUSTICE: Art, Sound and Power” Galaxy银河系，东京（2018）、“Reborn-Art Festival 2017” 石巻市，宫城（2017）、“Love’s body – art in the age of AIDS” 东京都写真美术馆，东京（2010）。其作品主要收藏于Collection Lambert、Watari美术馆。

This news triggered Akira to think about "liberated areas. Where can we find such places that allow individuals to engage freely? This was a question that came to Akira’s mind only after the COVID-19 pandemic, which was a time of extreme mental and physical stagnation.
